Not only was Bath & Racquet Club a destination for sports and social culture at the time, but it also served as one of the early driving forces in the development of women's professional tennis - with Chris Evert, Martina Navratilova and others stepping foot onto its outdoor green clay courts. In addition, Haas himself is no stranger to the region, having spent his youth in Bradenton, Florida, training under the late Nick Bollettieri at his legendary academy.

Today, the venue is being rebuilt as Bath + Racquet Residences and Club, a state-of-the-art mixed-use development where residential, commercial, and recreational blend in perfect harmony. The project will consist of 256 condominium units (“The Residence”) nestled around a Private Members Club (“The Club”) that not only serves racquet sports’ members of all levels, but also those who seek the perfect blend of luxury, indoor and outdoor lifestyle, and modern amenities.

He will also help curate the coaching experience, the day-to-day tennis operations, as well as invite talent - from trainers to players - to partake in all the facilities and activities at Bath + Racquet Residences and Club, making it a destination for those seeking year-round options along their tennis circuit. Owners and Developers of Bath + Racquet Residences and Club, Fabio Di Prima and Tan Bahia, have been in negotiations with multiple experienced luxury tennis club operators, and with Haas’ leadership and elite tennis experience that made him one of the best professional tennis players in the history of the sport, the owners are well-equipped to finally inch closer to the selection of the club operator in the very near future.
